I don't run anti virus at all times like you are supposed to.  I generally try not to do stupid things that might mess me up and also run a scan once a week or so after updating defs.  I attempted to update defs today and keep getting this even after rebooting, 

BTW, everything seems to work fine and there are no strange processed running as far as I can tell

I guess the problem was that the Antivir scheduler service wouldn't kick on even though I had it set to manual.  Anyways, after starting the service myself I was able to update.
